The Role:
Become a key member of Digible as a Software Engineer II, where you'll play an integral role within one of our agile scrum teams. Your primary responsibility will be to support your team in delivering its roadmap. You'll be expected to write shippable code that is testable, and easily understood by your colleagues. Additionally, you'll participate in code reviews and assist with enhancing our observability efforts including debugging production-level issues.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to grow your grow your skills in various software development competencies. You will have an opportunity to grow your software architecture skills as you get to understand and improve your team’s system design. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to grow the softer skills of the role such as collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization including product, design and some of the more customer facing teams as you contribute towards building new products.

What you’ll do:
- Support your team’s objective of delivering high-quality production software by actively contributing to coding, quality assurance, observability, security, and reliability initiatives.
- Participate in your team’s on-call rotation, methodically troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Be an integral part of your team’s daily processes such as task sizing and prioritization.
- Assist your team in planning and breaking down technical tasks while ensuring the timely completion of roadmap milestones.
- Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders to collaborate on requirements ideation and implementation.
You should have:
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Thrives in a collaborative Agile Scrum environment.
- Proficiency in modern javascript-based web stacks (Node, TypeScript, React, etc.) and frameworks such as NextJS and NestJS.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases.
- Proficiency in designing APIs.
- Working experience with services-based architecture.
- Understanding of system architecture principles and patterns.
- Hands-on familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
This role is open to candidates located within the United States.
Pay, perks, and such:
- Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000
- 4-Day Work Week (32 Hour Work Week)
