We’re looking for a technically-driven Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to serve as the primary architect of our deployment gates.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience designing and scaling automated test strategies for Flutter (using Patrol) and Web (using Playwright).
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD orchestration (GitHub Actions), with a focus on optimising feedback loops through parallelisation and sharding.
  • A code-first approach to testing, you can build modular abstractions that allow developers to easily contribute to the suite within their PRs.
  • A systems thinker who can identify and resolve flaky tests to maintain a high-trust, "green build" culture.
  • Ability to implement performance checks to monitor web load times and UI lag, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Preferred but not required experience in:

  • A love for Whering!

What you'll be doing:

  • You will bridge the gap between development and production, designing the testing ecosystem that keeps our modern Flutter and Web stack stable.
  • Your goal is to build the code-based safety net that gives our engineering team the confidence to ship at pace.
