This is a remote position.

Schedule: Flexible within client business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Costa Mesa, CA) | 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Manila Time)

Total Paid Working Hours per Week: 20 hours

Client Overview

Our client, a leading optometry practice, offers advanced eye care services, including myopia management, vision therapy, and dry eye treatments. With a strong focus on patient education and engagement, they are seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance their digital presence.

In this role, you will create engaging content, design eye-catching campaigns, and showcase innovative eye care treatments. If you have a passion for digital marketing and design, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms to educate and connect with patients.
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy using Hootsuite, maintaining a consistent brand voice and maximizing engagement.
  • Design eye-catching digital graphics and print materials that highlight innovative eye care services.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and targeted messaging for different patient groups.
  • Work closely with the eye care team to simplify complex optometry concepts into visually appealing and easy-to-understand content.
  • Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance, and adjust strategies to enhance digital engagement.
  • Organize marketing assets and patient data while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing visually engaging, on-brand content.
  • Proficiency in Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality marketing materials.
  • Strong understanding of design trends and social media best practices, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to simplify medical concepts for a general audience.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with email marketing and basic data management, including familiarity with spreadsheet software.
  • Passion for continuous learning, especially in eye health and optometry.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week, with potential for growth as the practice expands its digital presence.
