SCOUT Marketing is hiring a Freelance/Contract SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYST to join our team in Atlanta, GA. We are currently remote and will accept candidates outside of Atlanta. We are a full-service ad agency with offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and San Diego. SCOUT's mantra is "Be Brave." CONTRACT/PART TIME: 15 Hours per week for at least 2 months

$65-$75/hour based on experience

  • Serve as the administrator of new and recurring social listening reports.
  • Host discovery sessions with key stakeholders to understand keywords, report objectives and business needs.
  • Design, structure, and refine listening queries
  • Analyze data results and pinpoint actionable insights to make recommendations based on data trends and knowledge of the social space.

  • Translate data into an easy-to-understand, client-facing narrative
  • Monitor brand chatter, conversation, and sentiment changes to help guide online reputation management.
  • Inform brief development with applicable insights to drive data-first strategies and creative executions.
  • Provide social listening reports, demographic information, and other insights for new business opportunities.
  • Juggle and multitask across various clients, campaigns, and platforms daily.
  • Monitor key competitors, as identified by client, and their social activity.
  • Collaborate with social media coordinator, strategist, community manager, creative team, and account leads to author client facing deliverables.
  • Provide up-to-date news on trends, tools, algorithms, and tech to share POVs, industry insights, and updates with agency and clients, as needed
  • Cultivate creative conversations with stakeholders and make recommendations to enhance social initiatives based on social trends and shifts
  • Understand overall brand objectives and build social presence which helps the team meet annual goals.
