As a Sound Designer on Project Blight: Survival, you will help shape the atmospheric audio experience that supports the tone and world of the game. Your work will contribute to creating engaging soundscapes, ensuring players feel grounded in the environments and encounters they explore.

You’ll work closely with a collaborative team, contributing to a range of audio elements, including ambience, combat, and overall atmosphere, to enhance the gameplay experience.

A portfolio/demo reel is required with your application.

In this role you will:

  • Design audio assets for the title while following established guidelines.
  • Develop a variety of in‑game audio elements, including ambiences, weapons, monsters and character audio.
  • Record, edit, and produce original sound effects.
  • Implement audio assets and logic within Wwise and Unreal Engine.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate audio functionality directly in the game.

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in sound design and game audio.
  • Expertise in crafting SFX for characters, medieval weapons, Foley, and immersive worlds.
  • Skilled in VO asset management, production workflows, and audio pipelines.
  • Proficient with Wwise and Unreal Engine, with a strong familiarity with Reaper and Pro Tools.
  • Experience with systemic game audio, open‑world sound design, and dynamic encounter audio.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the horror genre.
