Your territory

As part of our Software Quality team, you will:

  • Ensure the quality of mobile products and backend services relied on by millions of pet parents worldwide
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for iOS and Android applications using Appium (Java)
  • Build and scale test automation solutions integrated into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable feedback
  • Own the automation testing process across mobile platforms and supporting backend systems
  • Integrate automation into device farms (Appium-based) and cloud testing providers (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab)
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and designers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria early in the development cycle
  • Contribute to test architecture decisions, improving framework performance, stability, and maintainability
  • Champion quality engineering best practices within agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), including risk-based testing, shift-left testing, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor other QA team members, fostering a culture of automation and quality-first thinking

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer in Test (SDET) or QA Automation Engineer focused on mobile test automation (iOS & Android)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Appium (Java) for UI and functional test automation
  • Solid understanding of mobile automation frameworks, device management, and configuration handling
  • Experience working with device farms and cloud-based test execution providers (Appium device farm plugin, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for automated test execution
  • Familiarity with test reporting, analytics, and debugging tools (e.g., Allure, TestNG reports)
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test design techniques, and agile testing practices (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience working with issue tracking systems such as Jira and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail)
  • Strong communication skills and excellent English skills
