About the role...

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the future of Duolingo’s subscription business.

This role focuses on uncovering new ways to grow and strengthen our premium offerings. It involves working across teams to surface high-potential ideas, turn them into thoughtful product experiences, and learn quickly from experiments. As our subscription suite evolves, this PM will help define strategy, deliver new features, and support the long-term success of our premium tiers.

  • Develop subscription features from concept through launch and iteration, with a focus on learner value and measurable results.
  • Work with designers to create clear, intuitive interfaces that highlight the benefits of premium offerings.
  • Define direction for emerging subscription opportunities and help teams build shared understanding around priorities.
  • Use data, research, and experiments to inform decisions and share learnings that support continuous improvement.
  • Deliver work quickly and with high quality, bringing clarity to evolving projects.

  • Experience contributing to meaningful outcomes in consumer technology, ideally in subscriptions or monetization.
  • Comfort using data, user insights, and experimentation to inform product choices.
  • A focus on product quality, with attention to clarity, usability, and simplicity.
  • Clear communication and an ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Motivation to support learners everywhere through accessible education technology.

  • Experience with subscription optimization, pricing, and packaging, or tier design.

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.

This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.

Salary Range:

$177,700—$240,400 USD
