We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to be a core contributor to our mobile platform.
What you'll bring:
- Deep expertise in building, shipping, and maintaining polished mobile applications using Flutter.
- Strong background in native development (Swift or Kotlin) with the ability to bridge custom widgets and integrate low-level OS features.
- Proven ability to architect modular codebases and manage complex application state (experience with BLoC is essential).
- Experience using profiling tools to optimise performance, eliminate UI jank, and reduce binary sizes.
- A passion for mentorship, capable of guiding junior developers on best practices and conducting rigorous code reviews.
- A collaborative mindset, working alongside SDETs to ensure our architecture is designed for testability.
Preferred but not required experience in:
- A love for Whering!
What you'll be doing:
- You will be responsible for shaping our mobile architecture and building high-performance features that scale with our user base.
- This is a role for a mobile generalist with deep roots, someone who loves Flutter but brings strong native expertise (Swift/Kotlin) to bridge the gap and solve complex platform-specific challenges.
