Senior Marketing Executive (Legacies)
£30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits
Reports to: Senior Product Marketing Manager
Directorate: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (compressed hours will be considered)
Location: Stratford, London Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

We have an opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Marketing professional to join our Product Marketing team here at Cancer Research UK as a Senior Marketing Executive, specifically for Legacies marketing.
Legacies funds a third of Cancer Research UK’s research so delivering a high standard of marketing is incredibly valuable to the charity. As part of this, you will deliver an exciting portfolio of integrated, multi-channel, supporter-centric campaigns to take our fundraising to new heights.
What will I be doing?
- Undertaking internal and external landscape analysis to define and develop the audiences and product offerings that need activating as part of the product marketing plan
- Leading on the delivery of campaign set-up requirements in collaboration with Data Selections, Adobe, Web Analyst, Print Specialists, Social and Marketing Delivery teams
- Working with UX experts to devise pre-launch test and learn initiatives
- Manage the campaign set-up and management process across all channels, including social media, PPC, email and direct mail, ensuring campaign elements are audited prior to launch
- Leading on in-campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis
- Working with Adobe, Social and Marketing Delivery teams to deliver email, SMS, social and other specialist marketing activity.
- Managing the creative process through briefing to delivery, to develop compelling creative and content.
- Working with agencies, freelancers and internal teams to tailor creative, and optimise campaigns, to meet audience needs
What are you looking for?
- Relevant experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns (offline as well as digital) from planning through to execution and analysis, that meet campaign KPIs
- Good understanding of end-to-end supporter or customer journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns
- Data-driven with a good understanding of UX principles and experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation
- Experience of developing highly effective campaign assets for use across channels
- Experience of managing own workload, meeting deadlines and effectively handling changing priorities.
