What you’ll do
As the Senior Manager, Talent you will be responsible for defining a global talent management strategy that enables us to drive a high performing workforce and unlock business outcomes. You’ll use your knowledge, a sound understanding of our business and a dash of creativity to shape and evolve programs through which we can identify, develop and retain high-performing Mambuvians within the organisation.To do this, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and put diversity and inclusion at the heart of all that you do.
Talent Development:
- Design and implement talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
- Develop and implement a talent review framework that includes identifying high potential employees, succession planning,development opportunities and learning pathways.
- Monitor the effectiveness of talent programs and iterate with a mindset of continuous improvement, or to respond to business shifts.
Performance Management:
- Develop skills frameworks that support and enhance performance management and hiring practices.
- Manage and iterate the performance review process, provide guidance to managers on best practices.
- Drive our performance goals and objectives setting process across the business.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related topics.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace by implementing relevant policies and practices.
- Influence across both the people team and the business to ensure that Mambu operates talent practices which underpin and nurture a diverse talent pool.
Talent Analytics:
- Utilise data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent management strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on key talent metrics and present findings to senior leadership.
- Make data-driven recommendations to improve talent management processes.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Talent Partner/Manager or in a similar role
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent management or a related field.
- Experience of leading experienced talent and/or HR teams
- Experience of working in a global or regional role
- Experience in a high growth and/or SaaS business
- Proven experience in developing and implementing development strategies.
- Strong understanding of performance management and employee engagement practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and talent management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to talent management
