What you’ll do

As the Brand and Content Leader at Mambu, you'll be responsible for leading and developing our brand and content team.  Your role is crucial: co-defining our brand and crafting engaging content to drive our business goals. Working cross-functionally, you'll ensure consistency and effectiveness in everything we do. You will be responsible for leading and executing Mambu's content strategy across the entire customer journey, to create and deliver engaging and relevant content that showcases Mambu’s value proposition, supports acquisition, customer engagement, and retention, and builds brand awareness with customers and partners. You are a critical marketing player who is responsible for engaging our audience with content that serves them and Mambu to create mutual value. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency of message, quality, and relevance. You will oversee the management and activation of social content on a global scale. Key responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Brand Management:

  • Co-develop and implement with the Marketing Director and cross-functional team a  refined brand strategy, including positioning, target audience identification, and messaging that differentiates Mambu in the market.
  • Take ownership of product-related brand topics, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Lead integrated brand marketing campaigns to drive awareness and growth.
  • Maintain brand visual identity consistency and manage the brand marketing budget to maximise ROI.

2. Content Strategy and Development:

  • Own the development and execution of a global content strategy aligned with Mambu's objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Define content goals to support audience engagement and retention.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, multi-format content such as blog posts, videos, podcasts, whitepapers, case studies, and email campaigns.
  • Drive social media content production to engage a global audience.
  • Collaborate  awith campaign managers to develop effective campaigns.
  • Develop and execute with the PR Manager the PR strategy and plan including the building of Analyst relationships.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure content and brand consistency.
  • Interface with the Product organisation to gather and develop content.
  • Align content efforts with overarching campaign strategies.
  • Provide insights to enhance campaign content effectiveness.

4. Team (& Agency) Management:

  • Lead and mentor the brand and content marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration and growth.
  • Oversee external agencies and freelancers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content within budget.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in leading and developing brand and content teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and strategy, preferably B2B SaaS, with a focus on brand management and content strategy.
  • Strategic thinking ability to align brand and content initiatives with overarching business goals.
  • Experience in developing brand strategies and overseeing their implementation to differentiate the brand in the market.
  • Proven track record of leading integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive business growth while ensuring budget optimization and visual identity consistency.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing external agencies and content development teams.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Energetic team player with the ability to work successfully across markets, geographies, and target sets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
