About the team

In Mambu, Builder Experience area has three teams: CI/CD, Observability, Tools and Automation. The teams work together to evolve the platform used by all Mambu engineers every day to ship high quality, delightful to use software to our customers. Builder Experience area is just starting, which means that you get to set the direction and vision while working with amazing engineers of different seniority levels, from the ones that have seen it all, to eager to learn juniors.

What you’ll do

• Build your own area: create the vision of Builder Experience, decide on the toolset you’d use, and the team structure that will allow you to achieve best results. You’ll get a strong start with three teams and experienced engineers, who will support you in getting onboard.
• Work together with the entire Product & Engineering organisation to build the platform that fits the needs of all Mambu engineering teams. Understand your stakeholders and day to day challenges, be creative and bold in addressing them.
• Be a true leader for the team, pay attention to each team member, help them grow and succeed. Inspire by sharing the vision, being the role model for collaboration and efficient decision making. Most importantly, have fun!

What you’ll bring

• Solid hands on background in Builder Experience topics: fast and efficient CI/CD, end to end observability of the platform (infrastructure and application level), building and running developer portal with extensive self-service capabilities.
• Strong leadership skills, in regards to establishing trust, transparency, direction and goals for the area. Experience in leading the team through change.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management at all organisational levels, from engineers to senior leadership. Ability to clearly communicate your vision and present bold ideas.
• Strong people management skills, able to understand people ambitions and align them to organisation needs and offer constant guidance and feedback for achieving them.

The base salary for this position is €8.300 gross (before taxes) monthly. This is a full-time equivalent target rate for Lithuania only. Actual rate offered will vary depending on the nature of the role and the breadth of skills and expertise the candidate brings to the role relative to existing Mambuvians.
