Your mission as our Senior Legal Counsel Hero will be to:
- Advise on the company’s business operations, ensuring compliance with gaming and betting laws in multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and negotiate international software licence agreements tailored to the gaming and betting industry.
- Conduct comprehensive jurisdictional studies to explore and assess new gambling markets.
- Provide expert advice on intellectual property rights (IPR) protection, specifically for gaming software and related technologies.
- Advise on tax law and related matters to ensure compliance and optimise the company's tax position.
- Handle due diligence processes.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, including drafting and reviewing relevant legal documents and agreements.
- Serve as one of the main contacts for day-to-day contractual reviews, negotiations and drafting, including reseller, referral, confidentiality and software licensing agreements.
- Create, utilise and adapt standard contract templates to prepare and finalise other agreements, such as Service Terms and Conditions, subcontracts, consultancy, agency and reseller agreements.
- Ensure that terms of standard forms and agreements align with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Amend and extend existing agreements, managing renewal and extension dates and coordinating related negotiation timetables.
- Advise the organisation: (i) on appropriate intellectual property protection measures; (ii) on commercial, as well as legal, aspects of transactions and negotiating with counterparty legal, commercial and procurement teams.
- Present legal issues to management together with analysis, options and recommendations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on critical issues affecting the company, monitoring their activities and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Stay abreast of international developments in gaming law and proactively address potential legal challenges.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to support the company’s expansion into new markets and jurisdictions.
Your superpowers:
- 5+ years of experience in providing legal advice to companies related to the gaming industry with a deep understanding of its legal landscape. (Preferably B2B level)
- Degree in law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication at all levels.
- Exceptional fluency in written and spoken English, with proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

Limitation of the treatment
Interested parties can request the person in charge to suspend the processing of data when:
- The accuracy of the data is contested, while the accuracy is verified by the person responsible.
- The interested party has exercised his right of opposition to the processing of data, while verifying if the legitimate reasons of the responsible party prevail over the interested party.
- Ask the person responsible to keep your personal data when:
- The data processing is illegal, and the interested party opposes the deletion of their data and requests instead the limitation of its use.
