Bolt is looking for a Senior Analyst, Sales and Business Development Finance. We are seeking a strong team player with the ability to balance detailed financial analysis with big picture strategic planning. Bolt is scaling rapidly and the ideal candidate has prior experience at a fast, high-growth company, preferably in the Tech / SaaS / FinTech space. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver, who is capable of both highly-detailed financial analysis and distilling complex problems into actionable insights. Reporting into Sales and Business Development Finance, this person will work closely with the SVP of Finance and have significant cross-functional exposure. As Bolt’s second operational finance team member, you will need to be adept at partnering with Bolt’s Sales and Business Development departments on business case modeling, forecasting, financial performance reporting, and assisting with new requests and analyses. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Business Case Modeling: Support teams in evaluating partnership opportunities and initiatives from an analytical perspective by quantifying the impact on the company’s financial statements and providing recommendations to leadership.
  • GTM Business Partnership: Build and maintain financial models to facilitate Bolt’s top-line forecasting process. Partner with go-to-market team leadership to evaluate investment opportunities, incentive programs and ad hoc analysis to enable our growing Sales organization.
  • Performance Reporting: Define and monitor success metrics including deal performance, sales efficiency and LTV/CAC analyses. Communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Help support the development of and work to enhance all aspects of the Company’s financial reporting efforts including financial reporting, variance analyses, and ROI analyses to track performance against the plan and identify trends.
  • Strategic Planning: Own and manage ad hoc / strategic projects to support senior management and business initiatives based on operational performance
  • Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to your work, developing open communications and productive work relationships with your stakeholders

What Will Set You Up For Success:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in an FP&A, Investment Banking or Consulting role
  • Prior experience supporting Sales and Business Development teams at a high-growth FinTech or Software company strongly preferred
  • Ability to define a business problem, collate the required information, analyze results and create a compelling argument for a solution.
  • Exceptional business judgement; capable of getting results with a focused, pragmatic approach
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office / G Suite skills: Excel / Sheets and PowerPoint / Slides
  • Bonus Experience: NetSuite, Looker, Metabase, IronClad, and Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or another relevant field
