Job Description

As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in creating a respectful, safe and inclusive work environment within Ubisoft's Canadian studios. Reporting to Employee Relations leadership, you will manage complex employee relations files and support the implementation of programs and policies that promote a healthy and positive workplace culture.

What you will do

  • Manage reports related to inappropriate behaviour or sensitive situations, ensuring rigorous and confidential handling.
  • Conduct workplace investigations (such as harassment and discrimination), ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Support local HR teams in follow-up and resolution of complex cases by providing expertise and advice.
  • Ensure documentation and tracking of files and interventions (reporting and traceability).
  • Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution processes, including individual and group interventions.
  • Support the rollout and enforcement of employee relations programs and policies in Canadian studios.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of trainings and awareness sessions on respectful workplace practices, conflict management and other prevention strategies, including management of psychosocial risks.
  • Monitor trends and risks related to employee relations files; provide analysis and recommendations to improve practices.

Qualifications

What you will bring

  • More than 5 years of experience in investigations, labour law, employee relations or labour relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and workplace standards in Canada.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written).
  • Degree in industrial relations, human resources, law or equivalent.
  • Certification in mediation, conflict resolution or a related field (an asset).
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
