Join us in our mission to champion human-centred design. As a senior content marketing manager at UsabilityHub, you’ll tell stories and elevate voices of people in the UX research and design communities and help shape the craft of a rapidly growing market.

Who we are

UsabilityHub is a remote UX research platform that helps organisations deliver products that perfectly fit their customers’ needs. We empower designers to engage directly with users and get rich feedback, quickly and easily.  We’ve been championing human-centred design practices for over 10 years with big and small customers including; Asana, Google, Metalab, UsTwo, Unilever and Zendesk.

Who we're looking for

  • You’re an incisive communicator. Our products and audience are technical so you’ll need to grasp technical concepts quickly and distill them into clear and engaging writing.
  • You’re empathetic and curious. The UX research market is constantly evolving and you’ll need to engage with customers and thought leaders to understand their needs and stay ahead of the curve.
  • You’re organised and thorough. Leading our content marketing efforts will require you to be both highly autonomous and collaborative, often working across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are analytical and insights driven. We leverage data and customer feedback to inform our decisions and we’ll be looking for to champion the same approach in producing content.
  • You love a challenge! We’re a small team in a highly competitive market which means you'll need to quickly learn and adapt to change.

Picture yourself in this role

If you had worked with us this past month, you would have:

  • Spoken with members of the UX research community to collaborate on a long-form playbook on research best practice.
  • Interviewed several key customers to produce new case studies for our website.
  • Worked with our SEO agency to identify content gaps and opportunities for improving existing content.
  • Reviewed progress and copy edited a few of the articles you delegated to freelance content writers and illustrators.
  • Assessed the performance of a recently published article and shared findings and recommendations with the team.
  • Sent a newsletter to our customers to let them know about recently published work and product updates.
  • Documented updates in the editorial calendar on all of the activities above and added some new content ideas to the backlog.


This role is open to candidates living anywhere with at least 3 hours of overlap with our Melbourne office.
