About this role
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Sydney Tax team. You will meticulously examine data sets to extract meaningful insights, aiding in strategic decision-making and enhancing overall business performance.
Key responsibilities
Working closely with an experienced Director, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Data extraction, manipulation and transformation, and data cleansing, while maintaining data quality and integrity against known business rules within existing client engagements
- Help clients and existing engagement teams make sense of complex and disconnected data sets – must be strong in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication with various project stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients
- Creating valuable data solutions for GT clients through the development of automated solutions, optimising processes, and executive dashboards that will support clients understanding of the key drivers for their current and future success and solving the strategic and operational problems
- Ability to support business opportunities in advanced analytics
Skills and experience
- Previous work experience in data analytics, specifically using Alteryx in a corporate or professional services environment
- Hold a formal qualification or certification in data analysis or similar
- Proficiency of MS Power BI (including DAX ) and Python
- Strong client relationship management skills with exceptional attention to detail, as results are required to be 100% accurate
- Core Requirement: Must hold Alteryx Certification (in either Designer Core or Designer Advanced)
- Experience working with Tax related data would be preferred

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $97,000 AUD per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
