Senior Advisor in Compliance Monitoring

Chief Advisor (m/f) in the Compliance Monitoring Department

(workplace: Zagreb)

Job responsibilities include:

• Monitoring regulatory requirements and changes in legislation related to the banking industry and IT framework
• Controlling IT processes and monitoring the implementation of corrective measures to reduce compliance risk
• Analyzing and assessing the bank’s compliance with IT regulations and identifying areas for improvement
• Participating in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assessing compliance risk and proposing measures to eliminate deficiencies
• Monitoring trainings and their compliance with regulations
• Preparing reports for the Management Board on the status of compliance, risks, and measures taken
• Monitoring business compliance with the Group’s internal policies and guidelines
• Collaborating with other organizational units of the Bank, the PBZ Group, and the parent bank

Candidates must meet the following formal requirements:

• University degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering) or law faculty
• For law candidates, understanding of business processes related to information systems and information security is desirable
• Understanding of banking sector operations and IT regulatory framework
• Advanced knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
