The Opportunity

As Senior Account Executive, you will be:

  • Working across our growing global technology portfolio, including consumer tech, smart lifestyle brands, fintech, emerging startups and more

  • Communicating with clients with the oversight of account / practice lead

  • Supporting various aspects of account health and profitability, such as budgets, contracts, allocations and more

Experience: You have 3-4 years of public relations / communications experience in an agency setting supporting and / or leading multiple technology accounts. You keep up to date with the latest industry and media trends and have successful driven coverage in national, local and trade technology outlets. You have experience writing bylines and press releases. You’re comfortable interfacing with clients and have managed junior team members.

Flexible & Adaptable: You’re willing to jump in and help others no matter the task or level! While we aim for work-life balance, you understand at times you may work irregular hours as dictated by client deliverables and manage to achieve work/life balance with strategic time off.

Ethics & Integrity: You approach all work ethically and honestly, setting an example for your colleagues. You do the right thing, even when it’s hard taking responsibility and being accountable for actions and apply these standards to those around you.

Curiosity: You’re a curious person, dig in, interrogate assumptions, ask questions and are committed to understanding our clients’ businesses.

Excellent Communicator: You are able to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. You understand how to change your communication approach depending on your audience. You have an awareness of the nuances that influence communication such as body language. You’re comfortable presenting to clients and colleagues.

Collaborative Spirit: You’re a team player and understand how you can support your teammates. While you can work individually as well, you’re able to collaborate with your colleagues and peers to deliver the best work possible learning from those around you along the way. You’re comfortable delegating and managing up when needed.

Organization & Thoroughness: You’re able to manage your time working on multiple teams and projects while staying organized and maintaining a high quality of your deliverables. You’re detail-oriented and don’t miss deadlines, but if you know you will, you’re able to communicate that to your teams and provide alternative solutions.

Proactive Problem Solver: You can see hiccups before they happen and know that being proactive keeps clients happy and employees engaged. You get excited at the prospect of a new challenge and have ideas ready to go. You stay informed and think creatively whenever possible.

Teacher & Mentor: You enjoy mentoring junior staff and developing their skills alongside yours. You’re able to take complex ideas, synthesize and reframe them for team members.
