Under the supervision of the Animation Director, the Senior animator works creatively hand in hand with direction to create and establish new unique, interesting, and appealing characters. Collaborating closely with the technical animation and design teams, you’ll participe in a wide variety of gameplay elements by pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation in every frame.
In this role you will :
- Effectively apply the principles of animation to create a high quality product.
- Understand game design intentions and be able to create the required animation lists for characters.
- Be able to adapt your style to known products.
- Edit these animations in the game engine.
- Diverse animation capabilities: creatures, humans, animals, etc. Correct, debug, and ensure the quality of the material produced in-game.
- Test a rig and, with the help of the technical animator, make modifications to it to make it easier to use or to achieve an artistic result that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.
What we are looking for :
- At least 5 years of Video game industry Experience as an animator
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy;
- Knowledge of rigging systems, their manufacture and use.
- Good observation skills and knowledge of video game production.
- Mastery of the nomenclature in perforce.
- Ability to influence the integration of animations in game to direct the quality your work: dialogue with the engineer and designer in the best way to enhance the gameplay with animations.
