We are currently looking for an Intermediate Search Data Scientist to join our team! This is your invitation to raise your bar and team up with the world's best creatives. About the role

As the Search Data Scientist, youโ€™ll be responsible for developing machine learning-powered search and ranking models. You will discover customer intent, add personalization to the results, and show the most relevant content. Youโ€™ll determine answers to questions such as: What is the user looking for and what is the most suitable solution for their job? How relevant are our services to the customer and how can we infer that in real-time? How do we create real-time embeddings of users' intent, interests, and context and use them to power rankings? How can we improve the purchase flow regarding the search functionality?

You'll be heavily involved in one of our squads focussed on improving search.


๐Ÿ’ก Challenges you'll work on

For the first six months you are expected to help us work on the following challenges: Create an overall strategy to find and present the relevant results given a query within the creative services market. Possible results include services, samples, talents, and their descriptive attributes.

๐Ÿ”Ž Specifics on the responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design, build, and train models to find the most relevant content throughout the entire platform. The relevance of the content will depend on the intent of the customer regarding the service, sample, talent, and attributes.
  • Create new and improved search ranking algorithms to classify results, sort, and assess the relevance of the results.
  • Manage the filtering strategy, such that customers are able to effectively interact with results and refine their search queries.
  • Build, deploy, and optimize machine learning models for recommendations for cross-selling, up-selling, and finding substitutes to talents and services.
  • Leverage machine learning techniques to solve Natural Language Processing (NLP) problems, such as content understanding, language understanding, recommendation features, and chatbots.
  • Extract information from potential results to tag and enrich them, so that they are easier and faster to find.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the search algorithms and generate product enhancements.
  • Track and improve the performance of search algorithms within the platform.
