We're on the lookout for a proactive individual to join our team. As our newest member, you'll play a pivotal role in managing projects through every stage of their lifecycle. Your support and expertise will be instrumental in contributing to the overall success of our project portfolio. About the role (External)

What does the average day look like? 

In this role you will be driving positive change by managing projects that deliver innovative learning and development solutions as part of the Leadership Academies Programme

You will do this by:

·      Managing the development and delivery of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.

·      Assisting in the creation of bespoke, customer specific Leadership Academy learning and development solutions.

·      Managing tactical change and risks within the project life cycle for allocated schemes.

·      Assisting or leading in the provision of a safe working environment in the execution of managed work.

·      Managing the production of project management plans. Manage project budgets within agreed targets.

·      Delivering regular progress reports on change projects, including relevant risks and issues, to the Programme Manager (Change).

·      Promoting and monitoring the use of efficiency improvement methods.

·      Disseminating lessons learnt.

What essential skills and experiences are required?

We're searching for a candidate with a proven track record in project management and a strong educational background, ideally with an HNC/HND or equivalent. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be essential for collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. With experience in project safety management and a solid understanding of safety, quality, and environmental procedures, you'll ensure our projects are executed with utmost care. Proficiency in Oracle Projects and knowledge of commercial and financial procedures will further enhance your ability to drive success.

Duration: 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Location: This role is based at The Quadrant:MK.

For roles based at the Quadrant:MK you must live within 90 minutes or be willing to relocate.      

Closing date: 11th March 2024 On occasions, we may need to close the advert early based upon application volumes. Late applications may not be accepted. 

Interviews will be held from the W/C 25th March 2024. Depending on business requirements.

Band & Salary: Band 4B £35,582 - £40,029, (Depending on experience)

Drugs and Alcohol Standard:

All successful candidates will be required to undergo and pass a drugs and alcohol test. Your application will be rescinded if you record a positive test. All positive drugs and alcohol test results for prospective candidates will be securely held on Sentinel database and a 5 year suspension from applying for a safety critical role, a role which requires PTS certification or a Key Safety role on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure will be enforced.
