The role:

Founded in 2009, PURE Life Experiences  ( https://purelifeexperiences.com/) is a renowned global community of high-end experiential travel’s leading minds, who change worlds through an adventurous, conscientious and sustainable approach to travel. These ‘PUREists’ gather once a year in Marrakech for a week of ideas, inspiration and innovation, sparked by an annual un conference, nurtured by three days of prescheduled meetings and punctuated by networking lunches and parties.

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven ‘people’ person to work with a small team (reporting to the Buyer Programme Manager) curating a stellar buyer programme made up of the world’s most innovative travel agents and tour operators for PURE; maintaining our reputation for bringing together the best of the experiential travel industry. The right person for the role will be an excellent team-player with enthusiasm to learn and get involved with all aspects of the sales cycle (including administration and account management). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel; both to meet international clients and also to Marrakech to see their hard work come to fruition at our incredible event.

What you will do:

  • Fill and sell places on the PURE programme to the industry’s top travel buyers by hunting down the most innovative, fresh and experiential high-end travel designers from around the world.
  • Plan and implement sales calls (and potential trips) in your dedicated region.
  • Organise and keep on top of various administrative tasks throughout the application / payment / appointment process.
  • Be a great people person; maintain existing and develop new customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and attending industry events.
  • Work with the Buyer Programme Manager to create a yearly strategy to deliver sales in your dedicated geographical region.
  • Help increase revenue of the programme with sales delegate badges and other sales opportunities.
  • Generate new leads, based on your own research & using our database.
  • Network, research and be a travel trend nerd.
  • Manage the sales database accurately, ensuring all clients and prospects have paid and are contracted.
  • Work on-site in Marrakech during the show, and demonstrate confidence and adaptability to shifting dynamics in a live event setting.

What you will need:

  • 2-3 years demonstrable success in sales and account management, ideally within Luxury travel. Luxury Hotel experience or event experience would be advantageous
  • Experience using a CRM (e.g Salesforce) is essential
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to filter information and assess priorities effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure within changing priorities and deadlines
  • Be flexible to deliver sales, account manage & manage their own administrative tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to professionally represent the company

Position Type: Permanent, with a 4-day working week. Our hybrid model includes 3 days in the office (located in Shepherd's Bush), 1 day working from home, and every Friday as a non-working day as standard.
