About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role focuses on outreach to potential clients—startups, SMEs, and mid-market companies—qualifying leads, and supporting the broader sales process.
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base + performance incentives
Responsibilities:
- Support US revenue goals through lead generation and qualification
- Conduct outbound and inbound outreach to prospective customers
- Build relationships with key stakeholders at startups and SMEs
- Collaborate with Account Executives and marketing to drive pipeline growth
- Understand customer pain points and position Civo's solutions effectively
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and support reporting needs
- Represent Civo at occasional events and conferences in the US
Key Results/Objectives:
- Consistently meet lead generation targets within the first 3–6 months
- Help generate pipeline to support 10+ new customer wins in first 6 months
- Assist in onboarding at least one new channel/reseller partner per quarter
Requirements:
- Must be based in the US
- 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Interest in cloud technologies and a willingness to learn quickly
- Comfortable with outbound outreach (calls, email, social)
- Open to occasional travel for events, customer meetings, and team offsites
