About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role focuses on outreach to potential clients—startups, SMEs, and mid-market companies—qualifying leads, and supporting the broader sales process.

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 base + performance incentives

Responsibilities:

  • Support US revenue goals through lead generation and qualification
  • Conduct outbound and inbound outreach to prospective customers
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at startups and SMEs
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and marketing to drive pipeline growth
  • Understand customer pain points and position Civo's solutions effectively
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and support reporting needs
  • Represent Civo at occasional events and conferences in the US

Key Results/Objectives:

  • Consistently meet lead generation targets within the first 3–6 months
  • Help generate pipeline to support 10+ new customer wins in first 6 months
  • Assist in onboarding at least one new channel/reseller partner per quarter

Requirements:

  • Must be based in the US
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in cloud technologies and a willingness to learn quickly
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach (calls, email, social)
  • Open to occasional travel for events, customer meetings, and team offsites
