About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Risk and Compliance to lead our Risk and Compliance team. This senior role is critical in maintaining and enhancing a strong risk and compliance platform across the Perpetual Guardian Group, that aligns with our business needs and regulatory environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing governance support. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, strong internal engagement, and the ability to lead assurance programmes and policy development.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company’s Risk Management Framework.
- Identify, document, and assess business risks, including business continuity planning.
- Develop and implement risk treatment strategies and oversee first-line risk monitoring activities.
- Maintain and monitor the Compliance Assurance Programme, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the AML Compliance and Privacy Officer, overseeing all AML and privacy compliance matters.
- Provide risk and compliance reporting to management and governance forums
- Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure compliance across all relevant regulatory frameworks.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A strong understanding of risk, risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance.
- Extensive knowledge of AML, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory obligations.
- Proven experience in leading risk and compliance frameworks within a corporate setting.
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including regulators.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a strong compliance culture.
