Risk Analyst

Scope and Purpose

• Work in a team of 5 dealing with a board range of risk management areas
• Maintain, update and develop the Company’s risk management systems, databases and models
• Monitor, analyse and report the Company’s main risk exposures, such as liquidity risk, market risk and FX risk
• Monitor compliance of bond portfolio with approved risk limits
• Perform daily derivatives valuations as part of the Company’s collateral management
• Operational Risk: daily and monthly activities related to the operational risk internal control and verifications

Required Experience

1 year’s relevant experience is desirable

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Relevant university third-level qualification, i.e. Finance; Business; etc. (a Masters Degree in Quantitative or Computational Finance would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Strong IT / programming skills (ideally in VBA, SQL or R);
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (including macros) and Access
• General knowledge and understanding of financial instruments and markets
• Advanced knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is necessary.
• Working knowledge of VBA (or some programming competency) is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills (spoken/written) and ability to learn quickly and work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines
