Vacancy Details

Duration: 12 Month (maternity cover) Secondment or Fixed Term Contract. (Please note, secondments are subject to line manager approval, please discuss this with them before applying).

Location: This role is based in The Quadrant: MK. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered.For Quadrant:MK, you must live within 90 minutes of The Quadrant.

Band & Salary: 3C £55,596 - £62,546

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced reward professional to join our Reward & Benefits Team. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience, with substantial expertise in reward and a solid understanding of core reward issues and employee benefits. Strong analytical skills and experience in implementing best practice HR/ reward solutions are essential for the role.

You should have experience in operating within complex working environments and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. If you have experience with the Korn Ferry job evaluation methodology, it will be an added advantage. About the team...

There are three Senior Reward Business Partner in the Reward & Benefits Team, which sits within the Group Reward, Benefits & Pensions function.  The team develops, implements and manages the delivery of the reward and recognition strategy for the company to deliver a competitive total reward package.  This includes developing a reward strategy that encompasses pay, benefits, incentives and recognition that meets the needs of the business and supports attraction and retention of skills and the workforce.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Reward Business Partner, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a range of reward activities. You’ll be regularly providing expert advice and guidance on pay, reward and benefits to stakeholders across the company, ensuring reward solutions align to policy and meet business needs. You’ll be engaging with nominated areas of the business as their reward lead, and leading on and contributing to reward projects. To keep our reward policies and guidance are up-to-date with current legislation and best practice, you’ll be reviewing nominated polices and briefing key stakeholders on key changes.

You’ll be analysing complex data sets and producing and actionable, business-focused recommendations. We manage several supplier contracts, and you’ll be leading on nominated account, including monitoring contract performance. If you’re trained and experienced in the Korn Ferry job evaluation methodology, you’ll be involved in job evaluation. Additionally, you'll be managing a Reward Business Partner who’ll support you with the delivery the team’s objectives.

Essential Criteria

·CIPD qualified or relevant experience to demonstrate level of competence

·Substantial experience in a reward role with a good understanding of core issues and employee benefits

·Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice HR / reward solutions

·Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data trends and make data-driven decisions

·Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment.

·Experience in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, employees, trade unions and external partners

·Strong attention to detail and highly developed verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide advice on reward issues
