Vacancy Details

Duration: Permanent

Location: This role is based in Quadrant:MK, you must live within 90 minutes. Please note, this position requires you to be in our Milton Keynes office at once or twice a week, usually on a Tuesday.

Band & Salary: £55,596 - £62,546  (Subject to experience)

Brief Description

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Resourcing Business Partner to manage a team of resourcing specialists and who will be accountable for the end-to-end resourcing process.  Reporting directly into the Head of Human Resources, this person will have a strong background in talent acquisition, line management experience and competent in implementing and monitoring SLA’s.

Through collaboration, and strong communication you will own and manage relationships with other key functions such as shared services and wider resourcing and HR colleagues.  You will spearhead new talent acquisition ideas, and campaigns and ensure Network Rail remains and employer of choice

About the role (External)

This role will lead the team to business partner with key business areas such as Technical Authority, Systems Operator, and Corporate Functions.  All of these are key to deliver a safe and efficient railway.  An adaptive approach and mindset will be key to ensure you drive forward the attraction and recruitment of the best talent into Network Rail.  As part of this you will need to set the team up for success by setting objectives and ensuring key projects & strategies are delivered against wider company initiatives.

Essential Criteria

·Demonstrable experience of working within a Talent Acquisition (TA) function

·Public sector exposure would be beneficial but not essential

·Ability to create, communicate, and execute detailed talent acquisition strategies

·Spearhead new TA initiatives and measure the success of these campaigns and ideas

·An ability to re-engineer processes to create recruitment best practice, in line with wider corporate governance

·Strong leadership

·Effective communicator
