Job description:

We are currently seeking a full-time Release Manager for our Publishing Management department in San Francisco.

As a member of the headquarters production team, this person will report to the Publishing Management Manager. They will be responsible for delivering content for Ubisoft products to our distribution partners, including platform holders (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, PC), the Ubisoft Connect PC platform, and digital retailers. They will also maintain daily relationships and communications with platform account management teams to ensure adherence to Ubisoft's publishing schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between Ubisoft and our partners (Sony, Microsoft, etc.) for submissions and publishing
  • Create submission and release schedules and communicate them to stakeholders
  • Work in platform holder tools to create products, submit builds, track submissions and inform teams of any issues or bugs
  • Communicate project status and organize relevant information for project teams
  • Coordinate the content release cycle and ensure smooth, timely communication between parties
  • Provide expert guidance to other teams on submission and publishing processes with platform holders
  • Encourage adherence to internal deadlines for digital submissions and escalate identified risks

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience with submission and publishing processes at Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, Google, Amazon or PC
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail- and process-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
  • Strong project management skills, particularly related to the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize under tight deadlines
