As a regulations and security analyst, you focus on community and content protection measures to safeguard our business and customers from various forms of high-risk activities. We are looking for someone highly motivated, passionate about online platform security, and eager to develop their career and thrive in a constantly evolving collaborative environment.

What does your daily life at MavTek look like?
- Conduct detailed analysis of accounts and content;
- Prioritize multiple high-volume tasks related to identity verification and rules enforcement;
- Review documentation and video content for potential fraud and identity theft;
- Communicate with end users to verify documentation and validate accounts;
- Enforce DMCA and copyright;
- Work with other internal teams to identify and remove high-risk content and users;
- Investigate content and profiles reported by the community and take appropriate action;
- Collaborate with team members and managers to continuously improve processes.
Enough about us, we want to know more about you:
- At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an e-commerce environment;
- Strong interest in regulatory and compliance issues related to user-generated content platforms;
- Open-mindedness, resilience, curiosity, and comfort investigating offensive online content and behaviour;
- Ability to adapt to new workflows and policy directions in a constantly evolving regulatory environment;
- Ability to take a holistic approach to risk assessment and rule enforcement considering multiple variables;
- Knowledge of policy enforcement best practices; use documentation and precedents to guide decision-making;
- Strong investigative, moderation, and conflict resolution skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to make real-time informed decisions;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Comfortable with technology; able to navigate and understand new systems and platforms;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends; regular hours determined based on seniority;
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Additional language requirement
Another language requirement is needed for this role to communicate with clients, partners, and colleagues who are mostly located outside Quebec. The company has only one client in Quebec but provides technical support that this client must offer to its subscribers who are almost all located outside Quebec, and therefore must constantly use another language to communicate externally with these subscribers.
