Salary £26,250 or £31,810 dependent on experience

Tyler Grange operates a transparent fixed salary point approach whereby salaries are published at fixed points with 2 or 3 points available at each role grade (subject to an annual review).

Tyler Grange, an award-winning employer, is looking to add to our excellent support team with this new role which can be based in any of the following offices: Birmingham, London, Bristol or Manchester.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in supporting the wider team in the areas of purchasing, finance, and business operations.

This position would support the Finance Lead and Operations Lead in administration and coordination across Tyler Grange in their support of all disciplines. As two roles exist, there may be a focus on finance or operations but there will be a requirement to be able to work in both areas (to cover absence) one over another This combined role includes, with support, the following areas

The role requires dynamic and proactive individuals that are both excellent administrators and good communicators. Essential skills

  • Excellent communication and strong relationship-building
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite particularly MSWord
  • Organised and diligent
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel to spend time with the discipline across all of TG

Desirable skills

  • Understanding of and experience using the Salesforce platform (although training will be provided)
  • Knowledge of working in environmental planning consultancies or the planning industry

Responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • dealing with purchase requests and bookings;
  • processing expenses, credit cards and purchase invoices;
  • processing partner (subcontractor) invoices;
  • processing and chasing sales invoices and reviewing aged debt;
  • formatting fee proposals and some reports;
  • logging fee instructions;
  • reviewing process policies and providing support to consultant team on operations;
  • ensuring appropriate filing and saving of documentation;
  • review of WIP, forecasting and invoicing with project managers;
  • supporting review of annual risk assessments;
  • completion of admin/business info within PQQ forms for bids and tenders.
