Job Description

As a Property Management Assistant, you’ll be at the forefront of our client’s operations, serving as the primary point of contact for tenants and coordinating essential property management tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the real estate industry while working with a diverse range of properties. You’ll play a crucial part in implementing new software systems, improving communication processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities

  • Handle tenant inquiries and communications through a new property management software system
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Assist with leasing processes, including preparation of rental agreements and background checks
  • Monitor rent payments and address delinquencies promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of all tenant interactions and property-related activities
  • Support the transition to a centralized communication system, aiming for 24-hour response times
  • Manage communications for over 60 unique leases/residents across various property types

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Strong customer service background with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in using property management software or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Experience in property management or real estate preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while maintaining consistent communication
  • Comfortable with a consistent daily schedule of 4 hours per day, 5 days a week
