The details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $94,415 - $119,371 pa + 12% super, commuter use vehicle Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 5 to 7 of EBA5 The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Project Manager, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Project Manager you'll be responsible for a complex portfolio of multi-facet asset class projects, managing contracts from procurement, award, construction, defects liability through to maintenance periods. You'll also be:
- Managing approvals, complex planning and investigation of projects including alternate solutions, and generating technical reports
- Providing specialist engineering advice in line with construction legislation, Australian standards, Workplace Health and Safety
- Resolving complex construction issues
- Managing progressive payment certificate claims
- Ensuring engineering works are undertaken safely
- Providing technical oversight, direction and guidance to the engineering team to achieve a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focused team culture
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you
We're looking for a Project Manager with great experience delivering civil and community construction projects via Australian Standards contracts (particular AS2124), and with an applied understanding of engineering principles and practices. You'll also bring:
- Excellent time management skills to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to communicate technical matters in a simple and concise way to influence and negotiate project outcomes
- Active contribution to a healthy, inclusive and well-connected workplace
- Tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering, construction management or other relevant field (required)
- Construction Induction Card (required, or willing to obtain at own cost)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
