Purpose and activities

The sought profile, as Project and Program Manager, must have solid experience in managing complex projects in the banking or financial context and will support coordination, management and monitoring of cross-cutting project initiatives across the Group that involve many corporate functions, managing them in all their characteristics and evolutionary phases: initiation, planning, monitoring and control, closure.

The resource will be placed within the DOMAIN FINANCE BROKERAGE & ADVISORY which will follow complex application transformation projects in the Investment area of Group Technology of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, integrating product innovations and new technologies.

In this context you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the project team
  • Developing, coordinating and managing project plans from initiation to closure. Team management, economics
  • Managing project communications
  • Managing relationships with the bank business owner for the collection and analysis of requirements and with other internal and external IT Directorate stakeholders involved in business and project processes
  • Managing and monitoring progress through operational and managerial status reports (SAL) on: budget, deadlines, milestones, deliverables
  • Proactively identifying and managing project issues and risks by governing: impacts, mitigation actions, escalations

Required experience

1 to 3 years of experience in managing high-complexity IT projects, preferably in a banking-financial context.

Required skills, knowledge and qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Fluent English
  • Experience managing group dynamics typical of large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed teams (preferably in the banking/financial IT sector and in accounting)
  • Ability to take responsibility, guide and lead the project team
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data aimed at preparing and delivering effective presentations to both operational levels and executive stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of IT processes and software production
  • Preferable knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodologies
  • Preferable Project Management certification: PMI® or PMP® or PRINCE2®
