Behaviour Interactive is on the lookout for Programming Interns to join our diverse game projects! As a Programming Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced developers and be mentored by a technical lead. This is your chance to dive into real production environments, sharpen your coding skills, and contribute directly to the games players love.

About the interview process:
1. Completion of a Codility test
2. 30-minute technical interview in the studio
3. Hiring decisions and offers presentation
\* Project assignment will be done after the offers, once all the programming cohorts will be hired. That means you won't know which project you will be working on before accepting the internship.
To be considered for this internship, you must:

·Be able to work 37,5 hours/week for 4 months starting in January 2026
·Be eligible to work FULL TIME in Canada (in Québec or Toronto) at the time of your application

In this role you will :
- Develop features, either directly for game projects or for our backend service teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to improve code robustness.
- Work with game engines such as Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
You may also be involved in:
- Developing and improving backend services such as player data management, player connectivity, achievements, and leaderboards.
- Developing and enhancing core game engine components such as graphics, audio, networking, and tools.
- Collaborating with designers, animators, artists, and other disciplines to integrate various elements into the game, such as animations, sound components, and visual effects.
What we're looking for :
- Strong interest in video games.
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Node.js, JavaScript.
- Previous experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine and others.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a major asset.
