Job Description
At the Technology Group (TG), we provide tools, middleware and services tailored to the needs of game production at Ubisoft that we support throughout their lifecycle. Context: Bloomberg and all its services related to defect management are a strategic and essential pillar of Quality Foundation (QF) and Ubisoft. This domain plays a key role in supporting developers with tools that detect, aggregate, automate prioritization and assignment of defects in games and production tools.
What you will do
- Work with developers on your team to contribute to developing product features according to the product manager's roadmap priorities;
- Propose technical improvements to the product development team based on a technical analysis and understanding of the product and its features;
- Provide training for product users;
- Act as the first point of contact for users (support) and deliver appropriate, high-quality service;
- Oversee triage, escalation and incident communications to ensure a coordinated and rapid response from the development team and provide visibility to users;
- Respond efficiently to product users' questions and create product-specific knowledge repositories;
- Contribute to product evolution by suggesting improvements;
- Provide on-site support/assistance for clients;
- Promote the product by creating demos, visiting user teams and regularly communicating about product development;
- Communicate with clients to understand their feedback and needs and propose solutions;
- Develop product guides and educational videos and collaborate on tools that facilitate user adoption of the product;
- Conduct product demonstrations and capture feedback;
- Explore new development possibilities for the product and demonstrate impacts, costs and benefits;
- Establish the quality level required for product deployment in collaboration with the product manager;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Relevant experience:
- Any relevant experience in support services or as a Product Owner.
Skills:
- Knowledge of information systems, applications and technologies used in the company related to product development;
- Knowledge of major programming languages and end-user operating systems;
- Mastery of security standards and awareness of current security risks;
- Effective communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Customer-oriented;
- Analytical and synthesis skills;
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge:
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Excellent product knowledge;
- Knowledge of the video game industry (an asset).
