Job description

About Us

At Daltix, our mission is to become the go-to authority for delivering the most accessible and curated data on every mass consumer retail product. We are passionate about the quality of our data and excel at making it impactful for our customers. With a solid customer base that includes industry giants such as Colruyt Group, GfK, and Danone, we are committed to driving success in the retail space.

Daltix empowers leading FMCG retailers to make smarter decisions driven by data, not intuition. Every day, we collect, standardize, and visualize data tailored to our clients' needs, eliminating their data challenges. Our tools help them measure the influence of regional competition, pricing, promotions, products, and assortments in a constantly evolving market.

To maintain our high standards and deliver on our promises, we are looking for a hands-on Product Owner who will actively contribute to scaling our offering and delivering exceptional value to our clients through big data insights and reporting.

The Role: Product Owner for A3 Tool

This is an exciting new opportunity to take ownership of our flagship product, the A3 Tool (Automated Assortment Analysis), which is set to revolutionize how retailers approach category management and planning. With positive feedback from early adopters, we are now focused on scaling and ensuring successful customer adoption. This newly created position will be instrumental in shaping the future of the A3 Tool, making it a core part of our success.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Deliver 25 Categories to Our Key Customers in 2025
    • Lead the successful implementation of 25 categories for our flagship client, going the extra mile to ensure every milestone is achieved.
  • Customer-Focused Delivery
    • Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable deliverables through meetings and feedback sessions. Define category rules and collaborate closely with customers—even visiting retail stores if necessary.
  • Technical Translation.
    • Convert customer feedback into pragmatic technical solutions using cutting-edge AI technologies, including prompt engineering with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Manage Human-in-the-Loop Process. Oversee our team of Manual Operators (MOPs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, annotated retail data.
    • Support and develop the team to maintain a steady flow of data annotation projects.
    • Coach and onboard new MOPs while maintaining data quality.
    • Ensure dashboards and reports are running smoothly for internal stakeholders.

Why Join Daltix?

  • We’re passionate about making data work and believe in integrity, collaboration, and a future-focused approach.
  • Work in a vibrant, inclusive environment that prioritizes a human-first mentality.
  • Leverage a robust data stack with tools like Snowflake, AWS, and Hex.
  • Enjoy flexibility with options like a 4-day work week.
  • Embrace continuous learning, especially in AI and prompt engineering—don’t worry if you’re new to it!
  • Remote work options, with travel opportunities to Portugal, Belgium, and Germany.
  • Monthly all-team town hall meetings where we discuss key company initiatives and celebrate successes together.

Job requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with using tools like ChatGPT for productivity.
  • Data analysis expertise—ideally, you're comfortable with concepts like k-means or willing to learn.
  • Experience working with large datasets and a strong interest in FMCG retail processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory), with Dutch and German being a plus.

Location: Remote

Travel: Openness to travel to Portugal, Belgium, and Germany as needed
