As we continue to grow, we need our curriculum to teach learners effectively, retain learners with appropriately challenging puzzles, and teach everything from piece movement to complex lines. We are looking for a proven product leader who will own the development of Duolingo’s chess curriculum – from defining our teaching strategy to ideating and shipping new teaching formats. Come build with a high-powered, ambitious team that’s making the game of chess more delightful and accessible than ever.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate curriculum changes.
  • Partner with product and learning designers to ensure a fun, delightful, and effective learning experience.
  • Work with engineers to implement and guide feature development.
  • Run experiments to update, evaluate, and iterate on how we teach.
