Freelance contract only - 10 weeks contract
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager for a freelance contract during a parental leave. Reporting to the VP of Product you’ll work alongside a multi-disciplinary squad of Product Designers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and more to deliver a critical product launch for our Foundation market team based in Paris.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead a product team to delivering compelling results at every stage of the full product development cycle using a modified version of BaseCamp’s ShapeUp methodology.
- You’ll identify product opportunities through user research, discovery activities, competitive intelligence and market analysis that keeps our products ahead of the curve.
- You’ll collaborate with design and engineering teams to craft and shape innovative solutions aligned with our company priorities.
- You’ll manage the product backlog, define clear requirements, write user stories, and oversee implementation of your product roadmap.
- You’ll develop and monitor metrics to evaluate the success of features and products, and iterate based on findings.
- You’ll communicate your product roadmaps, release notes, and progress with internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ll partner with marketing and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches.
- You’ll gather and act on feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the product experience.
Preferred experience
You might be the perfect candidate if :
- You have at least 7 years of experience building high quality products at a fast growing SaaS or consumer product company
- You’re excited by the opportunity to build the frontier of recruitment technology and by making job search less painful for both candidates and businesses.
- You are able to influence stakeholders across the business and inspire a product team to deliver products that solve real user problems while navigating complexity and constant change.
- You can confidently make the right product decisions that balance speed with quality using limited information, knowing when to lean on hard data, qualitative insights and your own instincts.
- As you’ll be working across our global product team, you are fluent in English and French.
