Role Overview

Mercor is seeking experienced procurement experts to collaborate on contract-based projects across industries such as manufacturing, CPG, retail, and automotive. Professionals in this role will work through end-to-end supply chain and logistics workflows, explaining processes, documentation, dependencies, and key decision points. A core focus will be demonstrating how analyses are structured, executed, and timed in real-world contexts. This opportunity is well-suited for seasoned (4+ years of experience required) practitioners who enjoy applying their expertise to diverse project-based challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Outline and explain full supply chain and logistics workflows from procurement through delivery
Break down typical analyses and planning processes
Provide guidance on communications, disruption scenarios, and other day-to-day elements of supply chain functions
Collaborate with project teams to contextualize supply chain challenges and solutions

Ideal Qualifications

A minimum of 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related fields
Background in industries such as:
- Manufacturing
- CPG (incl. food and beverage, fashion, furniture)
- Retail
- Automotive
Proven ability to analyze and explain complex workflows clearly and effectively
Strong knowledge of demand planning, logistics operations, procurement, and vendor negotiation
Close familiarity with tooling and documentation leveraged in supply chain departments
