We’re looking for a Principal Technical Artist with deep Unreal Engine expertise to push the boundaries of creativity and technology. You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to automate tasks, enhance processes, and develop cutting-edge solutions and tools.

In this role you will:

  • Acts as a resource person for the team members to determine the technical impact of the artistic vision.
  • Simplifies production by finding ways to automate tasks and improve processes.
  • Develops best practices, solutions and tools in order to solve problems.
  • Promotes the reuse of assets, know-how and tools across multiple projects.
  • Ensures that the team has the technical expertise to do the work required in the project.
  • Seeks to constantly push the limits of technology.

What we’re looking for:

  •  10+ years as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry, with at least one AAA title shipped.
  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, textures, frames, animation, lighting, special effects, and scripts.
  • Expertise in optimizing game assets and improving art pipelines and visual quality.
  • Knowledge of procedural systems and dynamic lighting challenges.
  • Experience with Houdini, tooling development and Unreal Shader development will be a plus.
