The details:

  • Permanent Full Time
  • $119,390 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading (increasing to $123,569 pa effective 1 July 2024) Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 8 of EBA5
  • 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including 1-2 work from home days a week.
  • Location: Strathpine base with the requirement to travel across our region periodically.

About our opportunity

Our own People and Culture team are on the search to fill this key role in our Leadership and Capability function!

This is a great opportunity to really make a difference in our organisation by uplifting the capability of our team members through the development and delivery of high quality leadership and capability programs.

You will provide mentoring and guidance within our team of 6 as we continue to evolve and deliver quality programs to the greater organisation, with some of our upcoming projects being to:

  • prepare fit for purpose Leader Reference Guides;
  • review our Corporate Induction and overall Onboarding process for new team members;
  • roll out reinvigorated leadership development programs;and
  • deliver mandatory training content that engages and effectively embeds key messages with a diverse audience.

About you

We are seeking an experienced organisational development professional, with a track record in designing and delivering leadership and capability development programs within a large and diverse organisation like City of Moreton Bay.

Your refined and high level of emotional intelligence connects you with your stakeholders, ensuring you build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.

Working Week

We work a 9 day fortnight. That's 9 slightly longer days over 2 weeks (80 hours total), with every second Friday off.
