This position will work direct proposal work support efforts from Request for Proposal (RFP) through contract award.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Applying working knowledge of proposal process and procedure
  • Compile cost, schedule, and technical data into a compliant proposal package that meets all proposal (RFP) specifications, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Coordination with multiple stakeholders to gain approvals on labor estimates.
  • Understanding of the latest TINA and FAR requirements that impact our proposal process.
  • Performing Certifications Sweeps and process for certifying proposals.
  • Support Request for Information (RFIs) and fact-finding questions on a periodic basis
  • Price travel requirements and incorporate into the cost volume
  • Pull and analyze actuals reports to process and send to the functional managers

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2 Proposal Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of pricing/estimating, finance, contracts, proposals and/or business-related experience OR a Master's Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multi-task
  • Knowledge of TINA and FAR requirements

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop quality proposals in a timely manner
  • Experience in 1ERP and analyzing actuals reports
  • Knowledge and experience working with material/software and FAR requirements associated.
  • Experience working virtually
  • Knowledge of DCMA/DCAA audits

Salary Range: $67,200 - $100,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
