This person will be responsible for the player experience of the project while collaborating with a team of experts to establish and execute strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a player experience strategy from design through live operations, grounded in production priorities, design pillars and PX objectives.
  • Drive creation of high-impact player experience insights using diverse data sources (game telemetry, surveys, observations, etc.) and maximize the use and reach of those findings.
  • Become a trusted partner in decision-making with key production team members and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other expert teams such as Market Knowledge, Community Development and others to build influential advanced insights.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for games and for understanding player behaviors, expectations and needs.
  • Strong experience and proven track record conducting mixed-methods research and generating insights through triangulation of multiple data sources.
  • Good knowledge of game development and game design.
  • Ability to represent players while managing stakeholders with diverse priorities and perspectives.
  • Results-oriented, able to produce actionable insights that exceed industry standards.
  • Collaborative team spirit and appreciation for working with other experts to optimize effectiveness and quality.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple studies and operational projects while keeping strategic objectives in view across large teams.
  • Ability to operate in a complex ecosystem, adapting to existing standards and processes while improving and innovating them.
  • Experience integrating research into a game production or product team, ideally within the games industry.
