Location: London Broadcasting House (hybrid, 2-3 days in the office each week).

Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to provide Personal Assistant support to at least two Senior Leaders within the BBC’s HR Group.
This PA role will be in the business aligned team for HR, reporting to the BMA Business Partner. This role will support the HR Director, News, plus one other Director. HR News is a dynamic and fast-moving team responsible for being the dedicated support for the BBC News Group.
Business Management and Administration
The Business Management and Administration team works in partnership with all professional services and corporate functions accountable to the BBC Chief Operating Officer (including Product, Technology, HR, Finance, Legal, and Commercial). The team is undergoing radical reorganisation to combine and standardise professional support.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Supports Senior Leaders with day-to-day diary management, forward scheduling and specific event planning including Board-level meetings
• Co-ordinates and books ad-hoc complex travel arrangements
• Cultivates good working relationships with the HR News leadership team, the COO Group leadership team and other senior leaders, to provide clear and consistent business support.
• Works independently and as part of a wider Business Management and Administration team.
Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience
• A proven track record of working successfully as a PA to a senior leader in a complex organisation
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks concurrently, often under pressure.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Senior Leaders and the Business Management & Administration Team
• Ability to manage complex diaries, and to be proactive in planning and mitigating conflicting meetings and events
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Computer literate with strong organisational skills, exemplary PowerPoint skills and able to learn new IT skills quickly in order to adapt to different systems.
• Strong attention to detail

• Experience of working in the HR sector and/or within a Professional Services setting.
