The Role
As our People Operations Specialist, Technology & Data, you’ll bring the following skills and experience:
- Ability to extrapolate and analyze PX data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the people experience, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness
- Ability to identify and deploy operational effectiveness of our team’s benefit and compensation offerings
- Technical aptitude to quickly research and troubleshoot end user issues across our people systems & tools
- Highly collaborative & seeks perspectives to find creative ways to solve important problems.
- Ability to prioritize several high priorities at once, maintaining clear communications along the way
Practically, this will involve:
- System Management:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of PX Tools (including our HRIS), ensuring system functionality and data accuracy.
- Triage the internal ticketing system and respond and/or coordinate with PX Team and cross functional teams to reach a resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing technical support to PX Team and end-users.
- Maintain and develop custom reports and dashboards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop, generate, and analyze reports & surveys to provide actionable insights for PX strategies and decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track key PX metrics and trends such as turnover, performance and retention
- Analyze people data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing insights into talent acquisition, DEIB initiatives, performance, retention and turnover, compensation, benefits, and more.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline PX processes and enhance system functionality.
- Collaborate with PX team members to design and implement automation solutions and workflows
- Provide training and support to PX Team on system use and best practices.
- Prepared end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
- Project Management:
- Participate in HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure HRIS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Auror’s guidelines.
- Implement and maintain privacy & security protocols to protect sensitive people's data.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance and data security and risk mitigation
- Assist in creating and maintaining accurate people records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Benefits & Leaves:
- Coordinate the implementation, integration, administration, reconciliation, and reporting between Auror’s external benefit partners and internal PX Operations and Payroll systems.
- Utilize your benefits and operations knowledge to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Independently engage with third-party vendors to address benefit issues that may arise.
- Compensation:
- Conducting comprehensive analyses, including cost modeling, team member impact, and benchmarking, to support updates to our salary bands & compensation programs
- Providing support for salary planning, including playing a key role in annual salary review processes for internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Collaborating with PX and Finance to ensure accurate compensation data management, incentive payment processing, and financial modeling.
You’ll be reporting to Lauren Spagnuolo, Global People Operations Lead based in Denver, Colorado.
Lauren has worked across many industries in the for profit, non-profit and tech industry. Lauren brings a depth of knowledge across compensation, benefits & systems - and is passionate about the key role People Operations can play in unlocking others. Lauren is passionate about mental wellness and regularly volunteers to support this cause. You’ll also find her hiking, snowboarding and spending time with her husband and daughters (4 and 6 years old), two dogs and three chickens.
About you:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Google workspace.).
- Knowledge of people metrics, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive PX data appropriately.
- High interpersonal skills, enthusiastic about creating exceptional people experiences for all
Nice to haves:
- Experience with global organizations
- SHRM, HRCI or other HR related certification
- Knowledgeable of hibob (HRIS) and 15Five
- Competitive salary Range: Depending on level of experience, $79,000 - $97,000 (IC2)
