As the People & Culture Director, you will lead the strategic development of our People & Culture Business Partner team, with a focus on building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of empowerment, passion, and drive. Working closely with other P&C shared services including Communication, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations, you will support your team in equipping managers and strengthening leadership capabilities across the organization. You will contribute to the delivery of scalable programs and introduce best practices that drive both team effectiveness and organizational impact across all P&C initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Mentor and develop People & Culture Business Partners, providing guidance, coaching, and growth opportunities maximizing their potential.
  • Design and implement frameworks and best practices that enhance collaboration, drive efficiency and ensure alignment across P&C initiatives.
  • Lead and oversee large-scale, cross-functional People & Culture projects aligned with organizational goals, ensuring timely, effective execution.
  • Champion our engagement initiatives and take ownership of associated tools.
  • Drive our culture initiatives to promote an inclusive and engaging workplace where diversity of thought and background is leveraged for collective success.
  • Strengthen team cohesion and performance by modeling collaborative leadership and celebrating collective achievements.
  • Partner with the VP, People & Culture to assist with due diligence, M&A or other HR compliance subject.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strategic leader with a proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and developing strong People & Culture Business Partners.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, vision, and influence, with a passion for building high-performing teams and a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborative relationship-builder, skilled at facilitating dialogue, resolving conflicts, and influencing outcomes at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and drive change management.
  • Expert designing and standardizing P&C processes that scale with organizational growth.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion with experience creating safe, high-engagement environments.
  • Proficient with HRIS, project management, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, oral and written.
