What you can expect in this role:
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to our employees and teams, helping to create a positive employee experience while supporting the business’s growth and talent strategy. You will work closely with our teams to align people's practices with business goals, driving employee engagement, performance, and development. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a deep understanding of people processes, organisational culture, and business acumen.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the full employee lifecycle – From onboarding to offboarding, ensuring positive experiences throughout.
- Act as a strategic partner – Align HR initiatives with business objectives and support organisational changes.
- Lead core HR operations – Manage payroll, leaves, benefits, and ensure labour law compliance in the Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden.
- Enhance team performance and enable success – Foster collaboration, and lead performance management processes, including feedback cycles and goal-setting.
- Foster employee engagement – Promote a culture of trust, autonomy, innovation, and open feedback, ensuring inclusion and belonging for all.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact – Provide guidance on policies, workplace concerns, and career development.
- Collaborate on key HR programs – Work with the broader People team to implement initiatives around onboarding, benefits, wellness, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging (DEIB), and employee recognition.
Job requirements
What you bring:
- More than 5 years of work experience as an HR Business Partner in a or similar role.
- A Bachelor in HR/Work and Organisational Psychology or other related studies.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- A hands-on mindset, you are a critical thinker and problem solver.
- A communicative, business-savvy and empathetic personality.
