Our Payroll Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join us as a Payroll Generalist.

This is not a traditional payroll job—and we’re not looking for someone with a payroll background. We’re looking for someone with the right mindset, ambition, and capability to break into a new field and add value fast.

What you will do as a Payroll Generalist…

You’ll be responsible for managing and processing all payroll-related administrative data across the full cycle. This includes:

  • Collating and submitting monthly inputs to our payroll partners
  • Validating payroll outputs to ensure accuracy before release
  • Managing all post-payroll tasks such as invoice processing, reporting, and client billing support
  • Processing partner invoices and entering them accurately in our systems
  • Using payroll data to assist in compiling WorkMotion client invoices
  • Resolving queries with vendors and managing internal questions related to payroll invoicing
  • Ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Monitoring KPIs and SLAs, investigating non-compliance, and driving improvements
  • Completing monthly service measure data
  • Supporting ad hoc requests and team initiatives

We pride ourselves on accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery. You’ll be expected to take full ownership of your work, manage your time independently, and ensure everything is delivered to a high standard—without hand-holding.

This isn’t a repetitive admin job. It’s a chance to learn payroll from the ground up, work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and gain exposure to international processes. But you need to be ready to work hard, learn fast, and take initiative.

What we’re really looking for…

We’re not looking for payroll experience—we’re looking for someone with the right skills and mindset. Ideally, you are:

  • A quick learner who wants to understand the “why,” not just the “how”
  • Confident with spreadsheets and formulas, and comfortable working with systems and data
  • A problem-solver who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what to fix
  • Thorough and accurate, with a high personal standard for quality
  • Organised and reliable—you meet deadlines without being chased
  • A clear communicator, confident managing both vendor and internal queries
  • Independent and flexible, able to adapt to change and maintain standards under pressure
  • Someone who adds value and improves processes, not just completes tasks
  • Looking for growth and development, not just a place to coast

What you must have to be considered…

  • Availability to travel to our Cairo office as needed (e.g. onboarding, training, meetings)
  • No second jobs – this is a full-time role that requires focus and commitment
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM CET
  • A suitable home office setup with a desk and two-monitor capability
  • Excellent English – both written and spoken
