We are looking for a Part-time (25 - 30 hours per week) Technical Recruiter/Resourcer to play an integral role in the continued growth of Pitchup’s Software Engineering team by sourcing, screening and providing qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also have the opportunity during busy periods to work across GTM and Operational roles.

You will network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our Technical and Engineering positions as a priority.

  • Assist in preparing job descriptions in conjunction with the Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM)
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates including sourcing potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow, Github, Hired, Cord and any other new platforms
  • Build Pitchup’s passive recruitment process, conducting regular competitor analysis; identifying key talent through boolean searching, database diving and networking
  • Craft and send personalised recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Assist with drafting recruitment advertisements, posts and/or place ads in the most effective digital media
  • Schedule interviews for the TAM and/or conduct candidate interviews combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioural questions)
  • Proactively drive the end-to end recruitment process, moving the candidate through the hiring funnel as quickly as possible
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Assist with all offer paperwork, reference checking and onboarding process

About you

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Resourcer / Recruiter ideally from a recruitment agency specialising in Software Engineering and Technical recruitment or from an internal recruitment function where at least 80% of your candidates were sourced directly
  • Happy to work 25 - 30 hours per week, ideally spread across 5 working days, but willing to consider a 3 or 4 day week too
  • It is imperative that you have a track record of direct sourcing methodologies, including CV database searching, Boolean searching, LInkedIn Recruiter and insight where to find suitable candidates
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the technical candidate market and the ability to assess candidates against our technical requirements
  • You will take pride in delivering a seamless resourcing service to the talent team/hiring managers
  • Ideally you will have previous experience of using an ATS system and be tech-savvy
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary: £ 45 - 50k per annum pro-rata to part-time hours
